Our Story
Get to Know Us
Inspiration: Malaria has long been a leading cause of death in Africa, and we were especially inspired to focus on babies, who face the highest mortality risk. We wanted to create a solution specifically designed for infant protection
What We Learned: We learned a lot about teamwork, compromise, and how challenging it is to develop a truly unique idea. We also gained insight into how innovation requires balancing creativity with practicality.
How We Built It & Challenges: We started by researching vulnerable age groups and existing prevention methods, then designed a three-layer textile system using safe, affordable materials for infants. One of our biggest challenges was ensuring safety, durability through washing, and keeping the design realistic and accessible for low-resource communities.
